Juvederm Ultra XC tends to come up when someone wants more than a hint of volume. It's a hyaluronic acid filler usually described as giving more forward projection and a rounder, plusher result than the finer products.
That makes it a common name to hear alongside looks like Russian lips, heart-shaped lips or doll lips. It doesn't mean it's right for you, though. The same product can read very differently depending on the amount, where it's placed, and the lips it goes into.
If your injector suggests it, a couple of questions are worth asking. How much projection would I actually get with the amount you're planning? Would you go in stages? And if what you really want is subtle, is a finer product a better match?
