Saving keyhole lips photos? Check what they actually show

If you've been collecting keyhole lips pictures before a consult, it's worth sorting them before you go in. The name points at one thing, a small parting between the lips at rest with fullness either side. The pictures often show more than that, and not always the same more.

Sort your saved pictures into two piles

Pile one: the opening is the main thing you notice. Pile two: what catches your eye is how full the lips are overall, and the gap is almost incidental. Those are different conversations to have with an injector, even if every caption says "keyhole".

The clinic guides LookPrep cites don't agree on how the opening is made either. The IV Lounge talks about central fullness. InjectCo talks about both central and outer-lip placement. So if your two piles look different, that might be why.

Things a front photo can't tell you

Asking to see side-view results of comparable work, and asking how often the injector does this look, are both fair questions. The sources call it a specialist technique.

LookPrep has what keyhole lips look like on eight demo faces, drawn as illustrations with the sources named, which can help you say which pile you're in.
